In 2016, Mathéo will continue his progression in the WEC (World Endurance Championship) in LMP1 with the swiss team Rebellion-Racing.

In addition to this, Mathéo will be commenting with the RTS (Swiss TV Radio) seven races of the 2016 Formula One calendar.

History

After ten years of karting, he began driving a single-seater in the Asian Formula Abarth, afterwhich, he took part in the 2012 Formula 2 Championship and finally, advanced to the Formula Renault 3.5 Series in 2013. Since 2014, Mathéo took part for two years in a row in the GP3 Series Championship with the Swiss team, Jenzer Motorsport. In addition to this, he has been able to take part in the WEC (World Endurance Championship) for the last two races of the year in Shanghai and Bahrain with the swiss team Rebellion-Racing and he kept going with them for the complet 2016 season during which he became world endurance champion in LMP1 privateer. Mathéo has also been commenting the Formula 1 Grand-Prix with the RTS (Suisse TV Radio).
